If you own a pet you will have fleas in the house from time
to time. In some cases you may become infested with fleas.
We have had as many as four cats at our house and we have
been infested with fleas a few times. We only have two
cats now so it is not as bad, but we still have to use the
process I am about to tell you about.
You really don’t have any control if your pet goes out of
your yard, but you will need to spray your own yard about
two times during the summer months with a good flea
insecticide. If you kill all the fleas in your house with
out killing the little pest in the yard you will continue
to have a problem inside.
One of the main reasons a house will become infested with
fleas is, after you vaccum your house and put the vaccum
away, every flea that was in the vaccum bag will crawl
right back out of the vaccum cleaner and into the house
and start multiplying.
The way to stop this is to take the bag out, spray some
flea insecticide in the bag and tape the hole of the bag
up. Then spray the insecticide around the house. If you
will repeat this process every two or three days for two
weeks you will not be infested with fleas any more.
You can resume your normal schedule of vaccuming after you
clear up the infestation, but you will still need to tape
the vaccum bag up just in case your pet brings a couple of
fleas in from outside.

Fleas live on the host and breed there and can spread diseases and tapeworm. Egg may remain in dormant stage for up to one year and whenever a person or pet comes in contact to the egg, the egg start to develop in new host. It is better to know how to get rid of flea from pet or human. Flea start breeding and laying eggs all around and that can easily be spread to the clothing, carpets and other surfaces the person or pet routinely comes in contact with.
All the clothing including bed lining or carpet should be carefully cleaned so the egg does not spread to other humans or pets. Carpet and floor should be cleaned with soap water after removing dirt through vacuum cleaners. Some of this cleanliness can help us to get rid of flea from our surrounding and our pets. Once if any pet is suspected to be flea infected, the pet should be kept separately so that the egg does not come in contact with other human or pet.
To get rid of flea from the human, the person should take bath at least twice a day and should use a suitable germ killing soap or a suitable shampoo. These soaps and shampoo are available in the market and if used regularly a few times a day, are capable to kill fleas. Flea’s combs are also available and should be used for removing flea from your hairs.
Similarly to get rid of flea from animals, you should use soap or animal shampoo to clean the pet. Select a suitable soap or shampoo and wash your pet at least one time a day. You should also use flea comb for removing unwashed flea from hair of your pet.
You can also take some preventive steps, as these are best ways to get rid of flea from your pets. Keep the environment neat and clean. You should also change vacuum bags regularly. You should also wash your pet bedding especially during summer more often. The pet bedding is most prone for flea breeding. By adopting some simple precautionary steps, you can get rid of flea from human being or your pet.
